It's All About the Grands!

For the Santa hat chair covers I used cotton fabric, but they would be nice in fleece. There is an online tutorial available. The table cloth was made by my mom who passed in 1989. It is cotton with 5" lace.

These are envelope pillows. Instead of making pillow shams for the beds, I made one pillow. There are online tutorials available. The granny square cloth on the table is a few years old. The little doll on the sofa is a gift from a parent from my teaching days.

This is the same fabric from the pillows. I cut them into squares and positioned them on a newly purchased shower curtain and towels.

I needed a tree skirt for this new tree. It's 18 inches around. I decided to put my kids and grandkids pictures that are normally on the big tree on this newly purchased tree. Yes, they are so special.

I did this for the gate.

I have a beautiful apron pattern, but I was putting an apron away after doing the laundry so I traced it. I also took the Kelly green one that I traced and cover the writing with some of this same fabric. I made a pocket with red across the top. Today, I purchased some Insul-Bright needled insulated lining for the pot holder that I'm creating. I'm almost ready!

If I would stop thinking of things to make I could end this Christmas sewing chapter.
