A Little More Sequins and Shimmer

Simplicity 1805 Misses & Plus Size pullover knit top in two lengths with sleeve variations in sizes XXS to XXL. This is View A without sleeve bands.

 

 Fabric:
Top - Pink/Mauve/Multi Poly/Lycra Retro Circles Print Corded/Sequined

 Dress - Hot Pink/Golden Yellow/Multi Roses Poly/Lycra Shimmer Lightweight

Adjustments: The top was lengthened for the dress. An additional six-inch border was sewn to the hem folded in half for additional length. It was worn with a black jacket.

*At least an inch or two needs to be removed from the neck band as it is too wide for me.

This was my birthday top. I guess I was so excited that I forgot my jewelry so I picked up these large fun circle earrings to match the circles in the shirt.

Our ten year old granddaughter made my birthday cake with blue batter and pink frosting.

This is a fun top and I'm excited to make another view. It is a very easy pattern with view A being the simplest.

A Evening of Fun!

   Pattern: Simplicity 1805 top that was altered to make a dress.

 

Fabric: Black Ruffle Stipe Knit from Fabric Mart for a total of $4.80. It's nice to be able to whip up a simple dress for special occasions. It's better to plan ahead, but it works.

 

 

I was about 2 hours away from being dressed when I decided to make the purse so I just covered a place mat and a button  to make it quick.
