It's a Croc!

Pattern: McCall's 5987 unlined coat with attached "scarf" collar, two-piece sleeves and pockets. I works best with double sided fabric.

 Sizing: 8-22

Fabric: Chocolate Crocodile Embossed Polyester/Lycra Velour from Fabric Mart

Alterations: The scarf was folded together at the end and turned for a finished look. It has serged fronts and bottom.

Hat: Simplicity 4025 completed using serger.

This is an exciting coat. My girlfriend's eyes lit up when I entered the room. She loved it. It is one of my favorites and I don't know why it took so many years for me to make it. Yes, I'm willing to allow another into my life.

Life is much more fun with a sewing machine and a little bit of creativity!

Coat Suit

Butterick 5396 is a beautiful pattern and I love the fit of the dress. The suit is made of white polyester poplin from Vogue Fabrics and both pieces are lined with polyester lining. I did purchase white chiffon for the tie after I made it using the poplin.

My Winter Overcoat

McCall's 4975 in black fleece/knit from Fabric Mart. Lined in white/black polka dot polyester. I love this pattern and would like it in another color.
