Reflections: This is a wonderful pattern. The slinky fabric makes it a very comfortable outfit. Looking at the pictures, I need to lower the last button a little. Instead of the white accessories, I wore a grey hat, purse, shoes, and the same jewelry.
That is such a lovely outfit. The fabric you used is very beautiful. So how do you put on the dress without a zipper? Does the fabric stretch?
ReplyDeleteThank you. The slinky fabric has as much stretch as knit. Therefore, with the neck opening as wide as it is, there is no need for a zipper. There are times when a pattern calls for a zipper that you do not necessarily need one.
DeleteWhat a wonderful suit. Love it. I sure it looked great with your grey accessories.
ReplyDeleteThanks BeaJay. It did look okay with grey. If you look closely at the fabric, it is a white/black, but the blend has a greyish tone.
DeleteDorothy, this is a lovely outfit..Looks so nice on you.. Just perfect with that beautiful hat.. Happy sewing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy!
DeleteThat's a lovely suit - must look gorgeous in real life - the close up of the fabric indicates so! A really classic style, you will wear it lots.
