DeleteWhat a very lovely outfit - I can see why you would like more - and I dare say there will be more :). I think I have this pattern - it looks so lovely made up - very flattering on you.
ReplyDeleteYour hat is gorgeous as well :)
Thank you! I could see you in this top to go with your skirts and pants.
Deletebeautiful dress & jacket Dot! doyou always use petite patterns? I shy away from them because retail petite doesn't fit me right except the skirts but have thought of trying them since I have to hack up all my patterns lol! & you made a dress from a blouse pattern how clever is that!, I am going to try to apply what Ive learned here today lol!

Thanks Helen! When purchasing patterns I've never thought of checking for petites as I have to lengthen most of them. Most patterns need the bodice adjustment. I always have to check for sleeve width. I do have a dress pattern that I'd like to make into a top. As you can tell, I've gotten brave enough to purchase thrift store patterns that are not in my size and do the adjustments. Have fun!
DeleteWow this is lovely, and your hat color matches perfect. Another winner!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was excited when I saw this lace fabric in knit.
DeleteVery nice!

ReplyDeleteGreat finding that fabric. It's such a lovely piece that these styles work well with it. So glad you also use blouse patterns for dresses too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You always have such wonderful pieces.
DeleteWhat amazing fabric! this is definitely one a favourite for me. And the hat works so well.
