It's a Croc!

Pattern: McCall's 5987 unlined coat with attached "scarf" collar, two-piece sleeves and pockets. I works best with double sided fabric.


 Sizing: 8-22


Fabric: Chocolate Crocodile Embossed Polyester/Lycra Velour from Fabric Mart

Alterations: The scarf was folded together at the end and turned for a finished look. It has serged fronts and bottom.

Hat: Simplicity 4025 completed using serger.

This is an exciting coat. My girlfriend's eyes lit up when I entered the room. She loved it. It is one of my favorites and I don't know why it took so many years for me to make it. Yes, I'm willing to allow another into my life.

Life is much more fun with a sewing machine and a little bit of creativity!

    I LOVE THAT COAT!!! My kinda style all the way--and the hat is the frosting on the cake. I have that same fabric in my stash. So nice to see what others are making with the same fabric.

    Dorothy.. Beautiful ..Love the collar, love the fabric.. The hat just adds so much to it.. Looking at the pattern, I would never have dreamed
    it would look like yours.. PERFECT!!!
