Loose Top vs Curly Top

While hubby was enjoying the car show, I was enjoying the venders. I picked up this piece of taupe sweater knit for $3. It was just enough for Butterick 5714 view C. It's loose fitting with elasticized seams and waist.

Fabric Used: Taupe Sweater Knit and a metal clasp was used instead of a button.

The directions were easy to follow. This is a very simple item to make. No alterations were made.

 Sizing: XS - XXL

I was dressed for our small town's first Jazz Festival. This little sweater was just right for the weather, but the evening chill required a jacket. I've completed view B and C and like both. I do plan to complete items D & E. I highly recommend this pattern because each jacket can be made for casual or dressy wear.

Curly Top - I used Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk on damp hair with two-strand twists.

    1. Thank you Terry! Yes, some of the pictures were way too crazy to post, but it was fun as my brother has a hearing deficit. I keep him laughing. I thought someone might be interested to know how I styled my hair.
